Children of China

The "Children of China" photographic book is a charity initiative developed specifically to support children orphaned or affected by HIV/AIDS in China.

Produced by international children's fashion stylist Alethea Gold and photographed by world-renowned photographer Luca Zordan, "Children of China" is a stunning photographic journey capturing China's unique magic and incredible beauty through the eyes and faces of children living all over China from provinces including Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang (the Silk Road) and Hong Kong.
The powerful, emotive images highlight the charm of the Old China alongside the new, modern China.

"The children of China are overwhelmingly beautiful, humble and precious, smiling through the harshness of their environment and their daily rigor," writes Gold."These children have been our inspiration and we want to tell their story so that we can all learn from one another and hopefully live in harmony to create a better world."

Gold and Zordan are donating profits from the sale of the books to a Hong Kong-based charity, Chi Heng Foundation, to enrich the lives of children affected by HIV/AIDS in Central China with programs such as art therapy, music therapy and summer camps.

Corporate books for Christmas orders are also available by contacting Alethea Gold at goldie@bigpond.net.au
